 Bakers California here we come! It is really getting hot!
 We walked over to the cemetery and paid our respects to our classmate. We put flowers on his grave and shared memories of him. It was a sweet experience.

 One of our students wants to be a doctor when he grows up. His dad brought some x-rays to show us. We saw arms and legs. Some were healthy bones and some were broken.

One of our students just had surgery. We miss him so much and are so glad that he is recovering. We can't wait for him to come back to school.


We had the opportunity to have five policeman come to our classroom. They brought their motorcyles and showed us some fancy maneuvers. We learned some ways to keep safe. Our class would like to thank you for all you do. Thank you for making our lives safer.

 We watched one of our students show us some fancy foot work today. His Sensei came to our school and taught us some self defense moves. It was very informative. Thank you for haring your talent with us.

Our class VIP is a super, wonderful boy. He is smart and can make the most amazing lego creations.
 You finally lost the other one. Good job!
 We spent the morning plastering our faces. We are learning all about the Native Americans that lived in Utah, Nevada and California. We have been running through the Mojave Desert and have come across some Indian dwelling and writings. Tomorrow we are going to decorate our Indian Masks.










 We just learned all about an American artist named, Andy Warhol. We had a dad tell us all about his work. We are going to color the same picture several times using different colors. Thank you dad for sharing your loveof art with us.

Our class has now run 500 miles. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! We have made it to Halloran Springs, California. We are right in the middle of the Mojave Desert. We are learning all about the Native Americans that lived here. We are going to plaster our faces and made molds. We are then going to decorate them. What fun is that?
 They finally came out. They have been loose for several days. Yea!
