We have run to Orem, Utah. We have run 25 miles. We learned there are 97,521 people who live there and the largest university in Utah is located in Orem. It is The Utah Valley University.

We were lucky enough to have AIC Stevenson come to our class and talk about the importance of pulling together and making sure everyone is succeeding. We played a game where we were blindfolded and we had to listen to our buddies tell us how to get across the lawn without stepping on a landmines. It was not easy. We had to guide our buddy's and help them succeed.

Thank you for the plums. They were delicious. I shared them with all the second grade teachers. They were a yummy treat.

The motto of our is, No Buddy Left Behind. We have a buddy that we will work with throughout the year. Our job is to make sure they never get behind. Together we will all succeed.

We started the first day of school with two birthdays. Wahoo! What a great way to start 2nd grade.
