We just read a book Helen Keller. To get an idea about how it feels to be blind, we went outside blindfolded. We took turns with our buddies. We had to go down slides, climb on rock walls and run the quarter mile. We have a greater appreciation for being able to see the world around us.

We are going to make a class newspaper. We each have a section of the paper we are going to write. Before we begin we needed to see what a real paper looks like.

Goodbye, Mrs. Bird!!! We will really miss you.
We have made it to, Nevada. We ran through the corner of Arizona and are now at Mesquite, Nevada.
We just had a Same Day at school. We are learning about, Diversity. We had a day where everything had to the same. We wore the same clothes, ate the same food and did the same work. It was a day of learning the opposite of diversity. We all decided it is better to be ourselves, then everyone the same.

We read Henry's Box. We tried to sit still under our desks for a whole five minutes. Henry had to be in box for 28 hours and not make a sound as he mailed himself to freedom. We are very grateful for our freedom.

Our VIP is a naturally friendly. There isn't a lonely person in our class when Delia is around. She is also an amazing artist. WOW, can she draw.

Our outstanding principal has been reassigned to another school. We are heartbroken. She has transformed our school into well working machine. Our lives are all better by knowing her. She has touched our hearts more than she will every know. We wish her the best of luck in her new school. They are very lucky to have her.
