 Our class VIP is an amazing at spelling. He was getting 100 on spelling tests so he asked for harder words. So, we gave him harder words. He kept getting a hundred on those words, so he got some even harder words. He is still getting a 100 percent on his spelling test. Good job 2nd grader!

 We are almost there. We have run 625 miles. We are one stop away from Anaheim, California. Disneyland here we come.

We made Leprechaun traps at home and shared them with the class. We had to construct a trap that could hold trap a leprechaun. The traps were very creative. I am sure they would have been a challenge for even the trickiest leprechauns.

 Our Vip has a contagious smile. She works very hard at getting her work done. She is a joy to have in our class.

 We have been running and running everyday. We have made it to Victorville. We have run 600 miles.

 Our VIP mom stayed to watch the presentation. She helped get the writing done for our VIP.

 You are so kind to bring us a VIP treat. We loved eating our yummy Starbursts.

 Yep! That is our awesome VIP. He is a bundle of enthusiastic energy. Life is always exciting with our VIP!

 We went to the Book Fair to see the books that are available for purchase. It was exciting to see what there is. There are so many good choices.

 We just finished learning about Helen Keller. In order to get a feel on how it is to be blind, we went outside with blindfolds on. Our buddy had to lead us around the school. We had to trust in their guiding hands to take us safely to the playground. There were times when we landed on our knees or bumped our heads, but we did it. We now have a deeper appreciation for our sight.

 Good job on the ocean puzzle.
