We just read about Helen Keller. We went outside blindfolded to try to get a better understanding of what it is like to be blind. Our buddy had to led us around the playground. It was thrilling, scary and a little unnerving. We left with a better appreciation for our eyesight. We had to trust our buddy to led us safely. Helen Keller said, "The best things in life cannot be see or heard, they must be felt by the heart".

Thank you for the delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies. They were so yummy. They made me so happy to eat.

Happy Birthday to You! Thank you for celebrating your birthday with us and for the yummy candy bars.
Your have lost another tooth. Good Job!

Our VIP is gregarious. She is one to share her love and friendship with everyone. Our class feels her tender heart everyday. We are better by having her in our class.

We have been running like crazy. We made it through Utah, a corner of Arizona, through the bottom of Nevada, and now we are in California. We are currently in the, Mojave Desert.

We made it to Halloran springs, California. The one person that lived there has moved. It is now a ghost town.

We just learned about proper etiquette on the playground, lunchroom, bathroom and classroom. We dressed up and had an etiquette luncheon. We each had a classroom buddy that we went to lunch with. The boys pulled out the girls chairs and took care of the girls lunch trays. The ladies said a lot of, Thank yous.

We decorated Valentine boxes and exchange Valentines.
